Research Fellow

Parichat Saenna joined GHGI at its inception in 2011. Her professional background uniquely combines research in microbiology and zoonotic diseases along with science education specialization place based education and local knowledge systems. She has worked on zoonotic disease research in the laboratory, field and in rural communities as well as extensively on K-12 science education capacity building throughout Southeast Asia. She received her BS degree in biology at Mahasarakam University (Thailand) and MS and PhD in microbiology with secondary teaching certificate at Mahidol University (Thailand) as part of joint program with University of Wisconsin (USA).
