We are moving our SEA headquarters to Mahidol University’s Salaya campus to partner with the ASEAN Institute for Health Development (AIHD). GHGI will provide technical support to AIHD to better serve the ASEAN region to increase its capacity in global health research, education and technical services. Particularly exciting is the collaboration with Mahidol University, to advancing wider understanding and application of the contributions to sustainability science and practice made by HM King Rama IX , son of the University’s namesake and founder, HRM Prince Mahidol. King Rama’s Sufficiency Economy Philosophy and practice developed over his 60-year plus reign to address the health, environment, and economic development needs of the rural poor is more relevant now than ever—through the developed and developing worlds.
